Den Hartogh Gas Logistics is specialised in the transportation of Air, Chemical and Liquefied Natural gases. The air gases include Lin, Lox, Lar, hydrogen, Co2 and helium. The chemical gases include the hydocarbon gases such as propane, butane, isobutane, LPG, propellants and refrigerants as well as Ammoniac.
The corps of specifically trained gas drivers manning the 200 trucks, operate the numerous manufacturers owned tank fleet as well as the Den Hartogh owned 80 roadtankers and 10 tankcontainers. Certified training takes place in the Den Hartogh Training Institute. This can be tailored to our specific client requirements.
The drivers and consignment safety are assisted with trucks and trailers equipped with automatic transmission, electronic stability programmes (ESP), ABS braking systems, predictive distance cruise control and lane departure alert systems. Other on-board automation help with economic driving and adherence to the working time directive regulations.
The operation of these tanks takes place throughout Western, Central and Eastern Europe and involves distribution to multiple sites as well as full load deliveries. Each and every vehicle is equipped with satellite communication equipment which ensures that each driver is in continuous contact with his base allowing real time data and information transfer from and to the Den Hartogh and clients own computer systems. This allows orders, loading, delivery and flowmeter data to be transparantly transferred – system to system. In addition, this equipment facilitates real time geographic tracking & tracing which is directly available to our clients or their clients if desired.
