Den Hartogh Global has recently been founded as the new business unit within Den Hartogh Logistics specialized in intercontinental transport of bulk liquids with tankcontainers for the chemical industry. This new development is working with the same principles as den Hartogh Logistics is using in the European playingfield.. This means a fast response to all business enquiries and short communication lines. So we can meet all the needs of our customers at short terms.
A rapidly growing fleet of containers with various designs is available and the ambition is to grow the organization and the fleet to a size of 5000 tankcontainers during the firstcoming 5 years.
The central point of the organization is based in Rozenburg headquarters with European offices in Le Havre and Marseille. During 2011 and 2012 office-locations will be available in Houston, Dubai, Singapore and Shanghai.
Classified as hazardous products
As Den Hartogh Global only handles chemical bulk liquids our containers as well as our personnel are specially equipped for this. Our personnel is frequently trained for the logistic management of hazardous chemicals. Besides this, we also have Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors who manage the safety. Drivers are continually trained in the Den Hartogh Training Institute on various situations in their job including the correct handling of hazardous chemicals but also drivers training according the to newest available technology.
Central Information & Communication system
We manage operations within a Central Information & Communication System in which all movements of the chemicals are tracked. As all our vehicles are fitted with satellite and mobile communication systems interactive two-way data transmission and positioning is 24 hours a day possible. So we are constantly in touch with our drivers and know their status at all times. In changing circumstances this helps to respond to every situation.
Den Hartogh Logistics operates a unique Supply Chain Management System. This system integrates the vehicle communication system and multi-disciplinary application software TRANSFUSION. It interfaces with terrestrial and satellite communications systems as well as provides an unified interface for all communication mediums. Together with standard applications it produces an extremely efficient information system.
