The Romanian market continues to show healthy growth in its logistics services to the (petro) chemical industry. Den Hartogh is taking advantage of this growth by integrating Romanian shipping agency DTS Logistic Services into its network, further expanding its footprint in Europe.
DTS Logistic Services is based in Bucharest, Romania, and specialises in international and domestic transportation, as well as integrated logistics. It will represent the Den Hartogh network in Romania. Exchange and transfer of people and knowledge has already taken place, along with the first commercial successes.
The partnership agreement with DTS Logistic Services was signed by Octavian Dragomir, General Manager DTS Logistic Services and Jaco Hooij, board member of Den Hartogh Logistics. Also present were Romanian Minister of Economic Affairs, Constantin Niţa; the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Lilianne Ploumen; and the Governor of the Romanian National Bank, Mugur Isarescu.
