Immingham, 17 September 2026 - As part of our Den Hartogh Community Cares programme, colleagues from the Immingham team of Royal Den Hartogh Logistics recently visited Horizon Youth Zone in Grimsby for a day focused on road safety, logistics and careers within the industry.
With one of our trucks and tank containers on site, young people had the opportunity to explore our equipment up close and learn more about our daily operations. The visit offered a practical introduction to logistics, sparking plenty of questions about our vehicles and the work of our colleagues.
Alongside sharing their experiences of life at Den Hartogh, our colleagues discussed the different career opportunities within logistics. Safety was a central theme throughout the visit, highlighting why it is at the heart of everything we do.
The curiosity and enthusiasm of the young people made the visit a rewarding experience for everyone involved. We would like to thank Horizon Youth Zone for welcoming us and our colleagues for helping to make the day possible.
Through Den Hartogh Community Cares, we connect our people with the communities around us. Visits like this provide an opportunity to share knowledge, raise awareness of road safety and inspire the next generation to explore a future in logistics.
