Royal Den Hartogh Logistics

Smarter logistics. We're better together.

Who we are
We’re Royal Den Hartogh Logistics, a family-run business that’s been around since 1920. What started in The Netherlands has grown into one of the world’s leading logistics service providers. With 2,600 colleagues, 54 offices in 27 countries, and more than 25,000 tank containers on the road, we’re proud to deliver smarter logistics every day for the chemical, gas, dry bulk and liquid food industries.

Our way of working
Partnerships are at the heart of what we do. When challenges pop up (and they always do), we roll up our sleeves and solve them together, with our own teams, our partners, and even our partners’ customers. It’s all about working side by side.

Our culture
We’ve got a clear five-year strategy, but we’re flexible too. Everyone’s involved, everyone’s informed, and everyone plays a part in our growth. Whether it’s via a quick board computer message, a quarterly global update, or just a chat with your manager, we keep things open, honest and connected.

Our values
People Development. Openness. Respect. Caring. Initiative. And yes, Fun in Business. These aren’t just words on a wall, they’re what make us tick.

Our mission & vision
Mission: Ambitious People Realising Creative Logistics Solutions.
Vision: Recognising the continuous change of our society, Royal Den Hartogh Logistics has organised itself in such a way that adaptation and pro-activeness are a generic given. As a preferred logistics service provider, we shall innovate, grow and be a stable factor. Within Den Hartogh, we embrace and live by a set of core values that reflect the atmosphere we want to work in. We create the right environment to deliver our smart logistics solutions.

OUR GOAL IS TO PROMOTE A CIRCULAR ECONOMY

FORWARD LOOKING ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Environmental Sustainability

At Den Hartogh, we want to minimise our impact on the environment and work as sustainably as possible. We’re always on the lookout for ways to cut emissions and make a positive difference. To keep ourselves on track, we use an Environmental Management System that’s independently assessed and certified to ISO 14001 standards.

We also put best practices into action when it comes to using energy and natural resources efficiently, cutting waste, and recycling wherever possible. With our equipment, we design for the full lifecycle, aiming to promote a truly circular economy.

And we’re proud that these efforts are being recognised: we hold an EcoVadis Gold status, and our German team has achieved ISO 50001 certification for energy management.
