To honor its centenary Den Hartogh Logistics added a very special jubilee truck to its fleet today. It's an American Volvo VNL 740 with 500 HP under the hood. Although it's the showpiece of our fleet, the jubilee truck will be deployed in the BeNeLux for regular logistics purposes
It has been five years since Cluster Service Rotterdam was set up on the CTT site along Butaanweg near Rotterdam-Pernis. The cluster team does transport jobs for international customers in the port of Rotterdam. Over the past five years, the Cluster Service has improved the efficiency of tank container flows moving in and out of the area for the chemical industry, minimising the truck mileage total in Rotterdam’s chemical cluster.

Proud to have again been appointed by an Australia customer to assist with their major annual plant turnaround requiring more than 100 isotanks with various heating and baffles needs. Den Hartogh APAC and our network partner, Transom Marine Services, are constantly seeking innovative solutions to meet and exceed the complex logistics requirements of our customers in this region.
At Den Hartogh Asia-Pacific, we actively listen to the needs of our customers. End of April, we facilitated requests from customers in Dumai, Indonesia to open up international ISOtank shipping routes. Den Hartogh shipped out the 1st batch of 19 ISOtanks, via a barge, to Port Klang, Malaysia for onward transhipment to various global destinations. Before this direct shipping route existed, Dumai oleochemical refineries had to send their goods by land for international exports through other neighbouring ports in Sumatra. Delivery of goods to Port Klang via such ports will take three days of travel. However if it is via Dumai Port, it is estimated to take only 22 hours of travel.
Today the first 50-tonne electric truck has been put into use in The Netherlands. Den Hartogh utilises this unique truck in Rotterdam’s chemical cluster for the transport of polyols and MDI for Huntsman. We are proud to be part of this joint initiative, which is partly realised through support from the DKTI 2 demonstration programme of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.

NAM has again extended the contract with Den Hartogh as logistics partner for a further three years. Den Hartogh has been responsible for the safe and professional logistics of NAM’s production liquids since 1997, including production water and natural gas condensate. NAM’s core business is exploring for and producing oil and gas in the Netherlands.
Den Hartogh is operating a new long-term logistics contract at the Shell Rheinland Refinery in Cologne, Germany, with LNG powered trucks only. Twenty-nine brand new swap bodies just arrived at our Logistics Service Center in Antwerp for final inspection. The 35,000 litre baffled swap bodies are the first of a batch of 225 ordered at Singamas. They are all fully ground operated (incl handrail) and equipped with an IMT thermometer for remote connectivity.
Den Hartogh Logistics has come to an agreement on the acquisition of Tschudi Tank Transport Oy in Finland, the tank transport division of the Tschudi Group. Taking over Tschudi’s liquid bulk activities will strengthen Den Hartogh’s network in Northern Europe and particularly in Finland and the Baltics.
