A great moment for our Dry Bulk team, and one we are proud to share. 250 new 30ft Dry Bulk containers have arrived in Rotterdam and are now becoming part of our daily operations.
Behind these new containers is a clear story. As Jeroen Ernst explains in the video, we invested in our fleet for three reasons: to meet the quality requirements of our customers and the market, to maximise payload and to reduce CO₂ emissions for our customers and our own operations. And that is exactly what these containers are designed to do.
They combine a high-cube design with the lowest tare weight in the market. This allows us to maximise the amount of product transported in each container, making better use of every movement and helping to reduce CO₂ emissions per tonne transported.
It is a good example of how we continue to improve our fleet: listening to what our customers need, looking at where we can improve and investing in equipment that makes a difference in daily operations.
For this amazing milestone, we followed the journey of our new containers from their arrival in Rotterdam to the moment they were placed on a chassis and ready to get to work.
