Every year, the fleet is expanded with dozens of high-standard new trucks, which are then provided with annual functionality updates by Den Hartogh’s dedicated M&R department.
Safety
Our safety measures go well beyond the legal obligations set by the various laws and regulations we work under. Through our dedicated training institute, we offer a wide range of safety training courses for both operational and office colleagues. All our operational employees are licensed to handle liquid chemicals, liquefied gases, liquid food, polymers, and dry bulk food. In addition, our chemical operations are supported by experienced safety advisors who have in-depth knowledge of each product we transport, and by field supervisors who provide guidance, inspect loading and unloading facilities, and carry out regular spot checks. This specialist approach and safety-first mindset enable us to deliver safe, smart solutions every day.

Sustainability
At Royal Den Hartogh Logistics we recognise our responsibility to take action and lead with a forward-looking environmental policy. As our customers move along their own energy-transition journeys, we know our role is to provide a sustainable, environmentally-responsible supply chain.
To fulfil this commitment, we’ve set an ambitious target: to reduce our CO₂ intensity per tonne-kilometre by 25% by 2025 compared with our 2019 base year, and to become fully climate-neutral by 2050. We invest heavily in alternative fuels and new propulsion methods for our trucks (such as HVO and LBG), and promote intermodal transport wherever possible to cut transport emissions.
Together with you, our customer, we’re building dedicated low-emission “Green Corridors” that prove sustainable logistics in practice, because real change happens when we work together.
