Royal Den Hartogh Scores Impressively in SQAS Assessment

Rotterdam, 2 November 2023 - Royal Den Hartogh is pleased to highlight our recent participation in the SQAS assessment which was executed this time at our location in Coevorden, securing an outstanding score of 94%. SQAS, established by Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council, is a keystone assessment emphasizing on Safety, Quality, and Sustainability.

SQAS serves to assess logistics service providers and chemical distributors, guiding them to superior levels of supply chain proficiency. In the assessment Den Hartogh was measured on various topics ranging from risc management to security. Den Hartogh participates in the SQAS regularly at different locations to make sure we operate at peak performance at a broad level.

Spotlight on excellence

While our performance was strong throughout, we achieved a commendable 100% in for the topic “Measurement and Management of transport greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions”, which aligns with our ambitious commitment to reduce our CO2 intensity per ton-kilometer by 25% in 2025 (using 2019 as our baseline) and to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

Additionally, our dedication was evident in "Human Resources", "Management of Subcontractors", and "Equipment Maintenance and Calibration", where we also achieved a 100% score.
