Update Operation Clean Sweep

Rotterdam, 12 February 2024 – Den Hartogh made significant advancements in its commitment to environmental sustainability, specifically in its endeavor to achieve Zero Pellet Loss. As of December 31, 2023, 30% of our Trucking Partners have committed to the Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) Pledge, aligning with the 2023 target. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance accountability and environmental responsibility within the logistics and transportation sectors, with future targets set at 70% for 2024 and an ambitious 100% by 2025.

Furthermore we will implemented more rigorous reporting protocols for plastic losses. In line with the REACH regulations on September 25, 2023, we will include the quantity, location, and potential environmental impact of spillages in our reports. This enhanced transparency aims to mitigate plastic pollution and reflects our proactive approach to environmental protection and compliance.
